Control Display of Member Activites

Administrators can control whether member activities are displayed for other users to review. The system normally tracks page views, downloads, forum posts and other activities. These activities are normally displayed for other users to review if they view your profile.

Turn Off Activity Display in Member Profile Area

If a member would like to turn off the display of actitivies, the member can adjust this setting in the My Account or profile area of the system.

  1. Click on My Account link
  2. Click on Edit Your Settings link
  3. Uncheck box next to "Display activity on your profile to the public"

Member activities will no longer display on the profile page for that member. See image below for details on where this is located in the system.

Turn Off Activity Display in Admin Area

Administrators can also turn off the activity display for a member from the Reservoir admin area.

  1. Click on the Administration tab
  2. Click on Members tab (under Administration)
  3. Locate the member from the list and click on the member name (link)
  4. Uncheck the box next to "Display activity on your profile to the public"

Member activities will no longer display on the profile page for that member. See image below for details on where this is located in the system.
