Robert Skrob
Information Marketing Association
Reservoir began working with Robert Skrob of the Information Marketing Association in 2005. In 2006, Robert asked us to develop a Member’s Only site for his IMA members. The challenge — make the site work with his Infusionsoft database of contacts and members. While connecting through the API was tricky, Robert now has the best of both worlds — flexibility to meet the needs of his members while still having the power and advantages of Infusionsoft for marketing and managing leads.
Sean Greeley
Net Profit Explosion
Robert referred Sean Greeley to us in late 2007. Sean did not yet have a membership site and knew he wanted one that would be integrated and managed by Infusionsoft (rather than painfully keep data in 3 or 4 places, which is what most people have to do!). He liked the Information Marketing Association member site, but wanted additional functionality. We added several modules, including: allowing members to submit resources and let other members comment on the submissions (like a cool version of MySpace), map module* to allow Sean to plot members on Google Maps to show 'social proof' of active membership in his programs (with different colors for different member levels), notifying members of new discussion forums posts (while including the content of the post in the email). Currently we’re even adding more dynamic elements and advanced components to Sean’s site and these options will be available to other sites soon (additional investments required).
Kim DeYoung
Metromom
Sean referred Kim DeYoung to us in mid-2008. Kim had just started working with Infusionsoft and was searching for an integrated member site solution. She was very particular about how she wanted the site to appear and function (requiring extensive customization). Her graphic designer provided the look and feel - and we then built this on top of our member site foundation. Kim also asked us to customize the site to collect additional information from her members (which is stored in Infusionsoft custom fields) and also a Search & Connect module to allow members to search for and connect with other members who have similar interests. The additional information fields allow Kim to learn a great deal about her members while also allowing members to locate others who are in the same industry or who work for the same company.
